About Chef Duet
Chef Duet Catering Co is a family-run business based in the heart of Bideford, North Devon – built on a love of great food, genuine hospitality, and a story that began far from here.
Founder Donna Henry was born on the remote island of St Helena in the South Atlantic. At just 17, she travelled to England to start a new chapter – a journey that would eventually lead her to Simon, her partner in life and business. From those early days of adventure and discovery, a shared passion for food, people, and creativity began to take shape.
After years of building careers, travelling the world, and running businesses together, Donna and Simon made the move to North Devon in search of a different pace of life – one that allowed them to build something of their own. In 2016, Chef Duet was born from their B&B kitchen, growing steadily into the thriving catering business it is today.
Now operating from their commercial kitchen in Bideford, Chef Duet specialises in wedding catering, private events, and corporate functions, as well as artisan food products delivered nationwide. Alongside their catering, they also host events at their unique venue, The Old Foundry.
At the heart of Chef Duet is a simple philosophy: real food, made with care, served with warmth.
Whether it’s an intimate gathering, a large celebration, or a thoughtful gift by post, everything they create is designed to bring people together – just as their own journey has done.
